Awarded Top Ten Best Places to Work

Eye Associates was recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in New Mexico” through a program sponsored by the New Mexico Business Weekly.  We placed among the large employers in the state.  This was quite an honor and it was significant to note that there were no other medical practices, nor large health care providers represented in any of the categories.  There was a healthy representation of hospitality organizations (hotels etc.) and banks, which also says something about the service attitude in our practice.

Congratulations to our physicians and employees!

Santa Fe Clinic’s New Look

Our Santa Fe Clinic underwent a remodel.  Carpet was replaced and the clinic was painted, brightening up the patient care areas tremendously.  The majority of this was accomplished over the weekend with two of our key employees Buddy Crofton and Albert Esquibel’s hard work.  They moved all lanes, offices and waiting rooms, leaving a much improved environment for our patients and staff.

Eye Associates is a ‘Best Places to Work in New Mexico’ Finalist

Each year, the NM Business Weekly awards the “Best Places to Work in New Mexico” distinction to a small, medium and large company, recognizing companies that value building a highly engaged workforce. Individual companies are nominated by an employee or an outside supporter and then the employees are asked to participate in a survey focused on their jobs and how they feel they are supported by their employer. Based on survey results, Eye Associates is a finalist for the award and will be recognized at a December 2nd event, at which time the winner in each category will be announced.

Flu Shots Offered to Employees

Eye Associates has been offering flu shots to their employees for the past 9 years. Over the past 9 years we have given over 2400 vaccinations. The flu vaccine clinics began as a way to offer the flu vaccine to our employees where the vaccine comes to the employee instead of the employee having to take time off of work to arrange to get a flu vaccine from their primary care. This arrangement has worked very well for the past 9 years, and has been beneficial to our employees and our patients (by keeping our staff healthy).
