Dr. Ogawa, an Eye Associates physician specializing in cornea, was one of five physicians who co-authored a journal article entitiled: Beauveria Keratitis and Biopesticides: Case Histories and a Random Amplification of Polymorphic DNA Comparison study. It was published in Cornea, The Journal of Cornea and External Disease, Volume 29, #2, February 2010.
The purposes of the study were to describe two contact lens-associated Beauveria Keratitis cases and to compare the isolates of three contact lens-associated Beauveria Keratitis cases with Beauveria-based Biopesticides using random amplification of polymorphic DNA (RAPD).
